    Hi Brad,

I was also in my twenties when I started my first enterprise.

    My advice to you?

    1. The very most important thing is your MINDSET. Period.

"Sooner or later the man who wins, is the man who thinks he can." In order to become financially independent a person MUST develop a mindset. A drifter developed a mindset of a drifter before he became one. Notoriously unemployed person has a mindset of an unemployed individual. A millionaire develops a mindset of a millionaire before he becomes one. A middle class "slave" to an employers, banks and credit cards develops a mindset of a middle class before becoming one. Victim has a mindset of a victim, victor has a mindset of a victor.

    2. You also must learn to abandon any sign of an employee mentality, which is the most destructive element for any starting out entrepreneur. Society is conditioning us falsely to get a job (Just Over Broke) so we become dependent on others, employers, bankers, insurance companies, credit cards and the government. A trap of which results are 2 million homes up for foreclosure and many more to come.

    3. Finding yourself a mentor who already accomplished what you want to achieve and who does not need your money is an absolute must. You do not want to reinvent the wheel. Coach simply helps you realize more fulfilling and harmonious life faster, easier and much cheaper. Successful entrepreneur does not work 80 hour weeks.

    4. Learn to work smart, not hard. Hard work only makes our muscles sore and most of all it dulls our mind. Work smart, learn about leverage and Metcalf’s Law and everything about marketing, marketing, marketing.

There are pages and pages I could write about but those 4 points are the most important. I congratulate you on your decision. Learn to take calculated risk, always do your due diligence and as a true entrepreneur: If it sounds too good to be true — it's time to investigate. Majority of people would say … it probably is. If you ever find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to get off.

Never ever be satisfied with being average. Average sucks. Always excel and you will live your life according to your rules and your beliefs. If you contact me at my gmail address listed in my profile I will send you an e-book free of charge that will help you tremendously in launching your business and becoming financially successful.

I am now 61 years young, debt free for the last 20 years, retired at 45, traveled the world many times over, conducted my business on three continents and most of all, I would not change the thing about it. Go for it and if I can be of any further help, do not hesitate to contact me.

Start with a business that you personally have a strong interest in, a real passion. Find ways to make it successful and profitable, and then expand gradually. Don't let Becoming Rich be your primary focus as it will skew your decisions and reasons for doing things. There are dozens of helpful resources on the net. Read about other successful busness owners and how they did it. Be a good manager of your personal finances, do NOT live beyond your means as this will lead toward bad business decisions due to personal financial pressures. Accumulate as much capital as possible. The majority of businesses that fail, do so because of lack of capital to stay in business long enough to become successful.
    Good luck

There's a lot of business's out there that can make you a lot of money. I would suggest starting a home based business in something that your heart would be involved in. That's one key thing to make it successful. Cost effective! Profit margin is higher and not a lot of overhead. Another is if you want to make it a multi million dollar business, you better be willing to do everything that it takes that makes it that way and stop at nothing. It won't happen over night, but if you put the effort into it and the type of effort you need, then you can make it grow into anything you want it to be. If your willing to work at it.
Having a home based business is great! You need to find something that you beleive in and sale a product that everyone needs! I suggest you do start your own home based business. The income opportunity is incredible. Most home based business cost under $500. Some cost more depending on what it is you want to do. I don't know what you like to do, so I can only tell you what my husband and I started over six years ago and point you out to some others to take a look at. Ours well supports our family of six. We have four children ages 10, 6, 3 and 1. I'm not a multi millionair, I only worked it to the amount of income I wanted to support my family. I do have friends that are in this business that make a six figure amount of income. I can introduce you to them and they can show you the way on that part. People like Donald Trump, Robert Kiywosaki (I'm sorry I know I spelled this wrong) are also involved in this company. Do you think you can learn from Robert how to be a millionair or Donald Trump? I know where he will be at in June in training people on how to make that. If you'd like more information to participate in that event, I'll be more than happy to pass this information along.
We got involved in the telecommunications industry.
With a world wide company that's over 15 years old. We've been featured in several magazines like USA Today, Success, Fortune etc. Inc 500 rated us the 22nd fastest growing company. They offer services that people use every day and pay for anyway, but now they can have a lower cost. Services such as local and long distance phones, Internet, digital phones, video phones (you can see the person your taking to live)VOIP, Satallite tv, and all the major cellular phone companies like Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Alltell, Nextell etc. have partnered up with them too.
How many people do you know, or know of, that uses or has one or more of these services? How would you feel if you could save people money on services that they're most likely already using, if not you can offer them the service, and everytime they pay their bills each month, you make a percentage off these bills every single month. Huge income opportunity. It's incredible how much money is involved in this industry. A lot of non-profits are getting involved in it for a major funding source for their programs.
If you'd like more information feel free to email me and I'll be happy to pass it along to you.

I also created a blog on my 360 page on home based business's. There's over half a dozen different ones to take a look at. Your more then welcome to browse through them. If you find one that's interesting, contact the person who wrote it and they can point you out in the right direction.
